I am confused, some people say Max looks just like me while others think he looks exactly like Trav. Lets put it to a vote. Here are some of my baby pictures, and here are some of Trav's to choose from.

Trav is a PE

This week we just found out that Trav became a PE. What does PE stand for? Besides Physical Education it stands for Professional Engineer.
To get this you need to have
1. Graduated from a accredited Engineering Program at a College or University
2. Passed the Fundamentals for Engineering Exam (8 hours, 200 questions)
3. Worked under a Professional Engineer for 4 years
4. Studied Really Hard
5. and Passed the Principles and Practice Exam (another 8 hours of tough questions)
And then you get............A RUBBER STAMP!! that says you are pretty cool.
He has worked incredibly hard for this. I am so proud of him, and I am sure one day when Max knows what is going on, he will be too.

Here Come the Peas
My garden is coming along. Just last week the peas started coming on and it was pretty exciting for me, how neardy is that. I have yet to eat one because I like them real plump but they look delicious. We have eaten the basil a couple times on sandwiches and it is oh so yummy. I am planning on using the cilantro today, I am sure it will be good too.

Kids Book for Max
So I wrote a kids book for Max to have. It is all about a kid who eats his socks and how all his socks are different yummy flavors. He loves to chew and suck on his socks as seen above. Trav's sister is doing all the illustrations, so it should be pretty cute.

Max the Machine
Poor little Max, his parents are too lazy to put new batteries in his bouncy seat, so he took matters into his own hands. Check it out!!

Max's First Snowfall
As most of you know/experienced we got a rather large snowfall (for this area) last month. Large enough that it caused us to miss our flight to Melissa's sister's wedding in Utah. We spent almost 5 hours on the road trying to make it to the airport and successfully made it 15 miles up the highway and back home again. Disappointment turned into fun as we got to play in the snow with Max and discovered a new talent in him. He spent about 20 minutes on this creation. We thought the duct tape mouth and screwdriver eyes were a bit weird, but did not want to curb his creative spirit. He is good with snowmen, but at 3 1/2 months still struggles with the finger control necessary to use a camera and asked for Melissa and I to come out and shoot this picture for him. He was very happy with his creation as is evident by the proud look on his face.
